Core SWAT

SWAT stands for “Servants Working All Together” – this team is for individuals who desire to apply their work ethic and heart behind the scenes to facilitate the mission of Camp War Eagle. The job consists primarily of outdoor manual labor, event set up and tear down, housekeeping, sanitization, and maintenance related tasks. This team is made up of American staff along with our fabulous International Staff from around the world! It is difficult and dirty work, but so worth it for the memories made and the kids we serve. Join the SWAT team for an extraordinarily rewarding summer of hard work, teamwork, and OPPORTUNITIES! Internships are possible in this role for hospitality, construction, and facilities management degrees.

Roles and tasks administered by the SWAT team include but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning/Sanitizing bathrooms
  • Tweeping
  • Laundry
  • Trash/Recycling duty
  • Leaf blowing
  • Inflatable set up/tear down
  • Event set up/tear down
  • Responding to sanitization emergencies
  • Cleaning pools
  • Cleaning/Sanitizing venues
  • Wet brooming gyms
  • Set up/tear down of parking/directions cones and signs
  • Unloading/loading luggage
  • Assistance with maintenance tasks on an “as needed” basis
