The Camp War Eagle wrangler position is designed for those who love working with horses, love children, and who have a strong work ethic.
Daily Wrangler duties include, but are not limited to:
- Daily feeding and care of the Camp War Eagle horses. Duties include stall cleaning, providing clean hay and water 24/7, grooming, tacking, and other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for safely teaching various horsemanship and riding skills to campers.
- Leading and participating in daily trail rides.
- Typical Wrangler day at the barn: 7:00AM – 5:30PM (varies)
- When barn duties are complete, wranglers assume their role as a counselor in the cabin to which they are assigned for all nightly activities

- Must be willing to complete a 4 day Certified Horsemanship Association Seasonal Staff Certification. (Provided at camp during orientation.)
