The purpose of qualifications is to ensure campers are intentional in their academics and involved in their communities.

How Many Do I Need?

1st Year

What Do They Mean?

This recommendation is to be filled out by a staff member at your child’s school. Campers must show good behavior in school, cooperate with other students and faculty, and thought to be able to function independently in a camp setting. This is required for every camper.

School Recommendations

This recommendation is to be filled out by a staff member at your child’s school. Campers must show good behavior in school, cooperate with other students and faculty, and thought to be able to function independently in a camp setting. This is required for every camper.

Volunteer Hours

Volunteer Time refers to voluntarily spending time serving others. This could be raking leaves, picking up trash, helping out at a local animal shelter, babysitting, or collecting canned goods for a homeless shelter. The required volunteer hours is 10. Community Involvement

Community Involvement refers to time spent in an activity outside of school – this could be OZONE, sports teams, clubs, scouts, etc. Note: 10 extra hours of Volunteer Time time may count for Community Involvement.

How Do I Turn Them In?

Go to your online account. There you can send a virtual qualification form directly to your teachers, coaches, and supervisors. You can also upload paper versions as well.

Paper Form

Print the paper form and have it filled out. You can then turn it in to one of our camp offices, email it to campwareagle@campwareagle.org, or upload it to your My CWE Account.
