The Top Staff Role is a paid leadership position that helps oversee counselors and campers as well as lead the fun and safety of specific program areas. Our top staff are not simply managers, but the tone setters for the culture of camp and ensuring our Core 4 values are lived out every day, and every session of camp.

Primary Roles 

• Cabin supervision → You will be assigned a couple of cabins per session to oversee. Both the counselors and campers are under your direct supervision.
• Program area supervision → You will be assigned a specific program area that is a huge part of how you will spend your time during Morning Activities and Mish Mash. Likewise, you will oversee the safety and FUN of the people in those given program areas.

Secondary Roles 

• SOD/ASOD → At least once a week, we will have you assigned to special oversight duties during key safety times of the day.
• Travel → At Overnight, you will help with getting campers to and from camp/home at the start and end of a session. As a Day Camp top staff you will help shuttle counselors to and from Day Camp sites. 
• Misc. Duties → In addition to your primary roles, you will be assigned secondary roles which range from handwashing to morning wake-up, to birthdays, tournaments, morning show and special events characters, helping at worship venues, etc.

Top staff will be assigned to both overnight and day camp program roles. If you are working most of the summer and are not placed in a higher safety area role (waterfront, ropes, shooting sports, etc.), there is a good chance you may spend some of your summer at Day Camp.
