OUR PROGRAM

UNFORGETTABLE

Ask any child and they are sure to tell you that, above all, they go to camp to have fun! It's just that simple. At camp war eagle, fun is one of the many things we feel we do better than anyone.

Our daily program, which features over 100 different Activities in a variety of areas, our famed Team Competition, our unbeatable, unbelievable Special Events, and our upbeat and inspirational Lifeline services, are designed so kids will have an absolute blast! After all, to the child, that is what summer camp is all about.

The Camp War Eagle program also features Mish Mash! Mish Mash, the camper’s favorite time of the day, is when the campers get to do any camp activity they want. Campers can ride horses, work on craft projects, ride the waterslides, jump on the Blob, practice their tennis skills, fish in the fishing pond, challenge our Ropes Course, shoot hoops with their friends…the options are practically unlimited!

TEAM COMPETITION

Campers spend a portion of each day competing against one another as a member of the Red or Blue Team. Valuable life lessons are learned through Team Competition.

THREE FLAMES

At Camp War Eagle, we believe there are very valuable lessons to be learned through our team competition. We constantly focus on the “three flames” of team competition:

FIRST IS THIRD (F.I.T.)

F.I.T. (FIRST IS THIRD) is the overriding theme of Camp War Eagle’s Spiritual Emphasis. Our belief is that in order to “win” in our lives, we must place God 1st, Others 2nd, & Ourselves 3rd. By placing Ourselves 3rd, by being “F.I.T.”, we actually come in 1st in the “game of life”.

Camp War Eagle is a Christian Camp. We were founded on Christian principles and endeavor to provide a wholesome, upbeat Christian atmosphere for all of our campers.

SWEET FREEDOM

It’s Mish Mash Time!!! is the cheer that rings through Camp War Eagle as campers begin their favorite time of the day. Mish Mash is a little over two hours every day of structured free time when the campers are free to do any camp activity they want.

Mish Mash provides a time during the day for each camper to experience new activities or to master their favorites.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Whether campers are scootin’ their boots at Western Night, “ooh”ing and “ahh”ing at the Red, White and Blue fireworks show, or dancing and singing at Planet Eagle, each night promises a fun-filled, out-of-sight experience! Camp War Eagle ends each fun filled day with an exciting and fun Special Event, including WATER WORLD, with water slides, aqua adventures and the foam pit; WESTERN NIGHT, which features hay rides, roping and a thrilling Pig Chase; REINDEER GAMES, where the whole camp celebrates Christmas in the summer; RED WHITE AND BLUE, a favorite event featuring a good old fashioned picnic, watermelon, a talent show, and fabulous Fireworks, PLANET EAGLE with limo rides, inflatables and all the best of Camp War Eagle!
