GOOOOOOOD AFTERNOON CAMP WAR EAGLE! Today at camp we are celebrating our country with our special Red, White, and Blue event!!! It is a sunny day here at camp and we are excited to go outside to play today!

Verses of the day: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Romans 15:13 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. Psalm 33:12

Today our camper spotlight is…Eli from cabin 57!! If Eli could jump into a pool of any substance it would be orbeeze!! His favorite thing about camp is the lake! We are so happy to have you with us Eli.

Tonight, we salute our country by having a good old-fashioned picnic. The day begins with hamburgers for everyone. Then we are free to roam around the fields. You may want to play soccer or throw a football or a frisbee with your counselors. If you don’t care about getting a little messy you might try the Egg Toss or Apple Bobbing! After some fun and games, we will all watch Battle of the Stars and a fantastic display of fireworks!

Our OVERALL star cabin’s today are cabins 1, 6, 21, 49, 52, 60!!Today, in team competition… the blue team is ahead at 384, while the red team is at 368! Both teams have done such a good job of showing all three flames of team competition. Which include maximum effort, maximum enthusiasm, and true sportsmanship! We are excited to see what tomorrow brings at ultimate solution!
